our impact …

some numbers …

Statistics, outcomes and outputs tell a story and illustrate just some of the impact we have on the participants we work with.

Here’s some feedback from our participants (sample >200) immediately after attending our Ready for Life and Ready for Work programmes. Given these programmes are relatively short interventions (5 days over 2 weeks) it’s really pleasing to see we are able make a big impact in such a short space of time. Maintaining the impact in the longer term is the challenge and where our mentoring and drop-in services play such an important part.

some words …

Sometimes the words from our participants say more than numbers ever can … here’s just a selected few comments from those whose lives we’ve changed the most …

“the course was brilliant... I was treated both as a human being and an individual... it has given me back a lost confidence and desire to re-engage with my life and the community”

“It’s true to say that this course honestly changed my life – the panic attacks I used to have, spending my whole time worrying about ‘what if…?’ They’re GONE ! – Now I just live for the day and enjoy doing it”

“The effect of the course was massive – you learn to apply the concepts and look at things differently. I learned that I CAN enjoy a cup of coffee out with a friend and there’s nothing wrong with that … be prepared to learn something REALLY helpful - it is a GREAT course, it’ll help you focus on a goal that’s important and right for you and when you do, it feels great!”

“The course was life-changing/life saving for me – it was so huge, I can’t find the words to describe it properly – it ‘helped me to find me’ if that makes sense, and helped me find my happiness”

“I’m much more active and happier. I’ve lost a bit of weight because I’m so much more active now and because I always walk to work. I have a much better sleeping pattern – I have a reason to go to bed, because I have to get up to go to work. I like working in a team and feeling part of something. I feel brilliant – I feel free and I’m proud of myself”
